Replacement/Refund Process

We provide replacement or refunds for purchases of made-to-order or customized merchandise only in cases of manufacturer defect or damage. We will first offer to replace the item at no cost to you; if instead a refund is nonetheless requested, a refund will be made to the original form of payment used for the purchase. We are only able to provide refunds for damaged or defective products; we are not able to provide refunds for "buyer's remorse"; nor are we able to provide size or color exchanges.

You may be eligible for a free replacement or refund when: 

• The product arrives damaged or defective.

• The design is misprinted, including if the placement, colors, or item do not match your order.

• The package is lost in transit.

We accept replacement/refund requests for damaged or defective merchandise within 15 calendar days of delivery, or within 15 calendar days of the estimated delivery date for packages that never arrived. Replacement/refund requests are processed in the order they are received and may take up to 2-3 weeks.

DO NOT RETURN THE PRODUCT TO SUSTAINABLE CT OR TO THE SHIPPER. Write to thestore@sustainablect.org describing the reason for the replacement or refund request; please include a picture that clearly indicates the damage or defect. This will assist us in promptly addressing the matter. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us provide the best possible support.​​

Wrong Address

If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to the supplier. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

Unclaimed Shipments

Shipments that go unclaimed are returned to the supplier and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment to you (if and as applicable).
